Goal: Sort the liquids so every standard vessel contains a single, solid color — or is
empty.
Tap a vessel to lift it, then tap another to pour. Each standard vessel holds exactly 4 units.
You can pour into an empty vessel, onto a matching color, or combine
two different primaries to mix them.
Advanced Alchemy:
Mixing: Pouring a primary color (🟥 🟦 🟨) onto a different primary creates a new
secondary color (🟪 🟩 🟧). The receiving vessel must have exactly 1 unit for a mix to work. Some puzzles
require you to mix to reach a solution.
Locked Vessels: A vessel with a colored band must be completely filled
with its exact color to count as solved. Locked vessels also act as a one-way filter — only their
designated color (or a valid mix that produces it) can be poured in. You cannot use them as a temporary
buffer for other colors.
Mercury: The heavy metallic liquid (⬜) behaves like any other color — it must be
excavated from wherever it ends up and returned to its locked home vessel.
Frosted Glass: Ribbed vessels hide their contents. You can only see the very top unit
of liquid — plan carefully.
Utility Vessels:
🗑️ The Sink: A dark, half-sized vessel. Permanently disposes of up to 2 units of
unwanted liquid. Once poured in, it cannot come back out.
⚗️ The Distiller: A dashed vessel. Pour a secondary (mixed) color into it to
split it back into its two primary components. It will not accept primary colors directly.
Game Modes:
Daily Pour: One curated puzzle every day. Compete globally for the lowest number of
pours and fastest time.
Endless Mode: A fast-ramping progression that introduces Decant’s core mechanics early,
then remixes them into increasingly tricky combinations.
